SUPPORTING RESEARCH AND CARE AT BC CANCER IN MEMORY OF COLLEEN WILLIAMS
It is with mixed feelings that I must advise you of the passing of my wife, Colleen. I say mixed feels because as her husband, she was a great wife and more importantly my best friend. However, I take solace knowing that she is no longer suffering, as she passed very quickly, peacefully, and pain free.
Colleen was a friend, confidant, and Mom to many. She had a thirst for knowledge and sharing what she had learned. If anyone needed to know something, it was always talk to Mom (or Colleen). In her final days she worked through her illness connecting with friends and family virtually continuing to share her experience, advice, her love of knitting and many other interests. She was also able to find comfort by focusing on her faith.
In keeping with Colleen’s wishes there will be no formal service. There will be a private gathering at a date yet to be determined, and within the policy as set by the BC Health Officer.
