SUPPORTING RESEARCH AND CARE AT BC CANCER
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Debbie Casorso, a cherished wife, mom, and grandma, who left this world surrounded by the love of her family. Debbie’s passing has left a profound emptiness in the hearts of those who knew her, but her legacy of love, kindness and devotion to her family will remain forever in the lives of those she touched.
Debbie was the beloved wife of Stan for over 46 years, with whom she shared a life full of love, laughter, and unwavering partnership. Together, they created a family rooted in support, warmth, and compassion. Debbie was also a proud and devoted mom to her sons, Greg and Travis, and embraced their wives, Charmaine and Sarah, as her own.
But above all else, Debbie’s heart was truly filled with the love of her four grandkids—Makayla, Nolan, Cassidy, and Brynn. There was no greater joy in her life than being with them. Debbie made it a priority to spend as much time as possible with her grandchildren, offering them her love, wisdom, and infectious laughter. Whether it was playing house or restaurant, baking cookies, playing games or simply enjoying a quiet moment together, she treasured every second with them.
Debbie’s warmth extended beyond her immediate family. She was a true friend, a source of strength, and a gentle presence to all who knew her. She will be remembered for her kindness, her selflessness, and her ability to make everyone feel loved.
Though Debbie will be deeply missed by her family and friends, her spirit will live on in the hearts of her loved ones, especially in the memories of the countless moments she shared with her grandchildren. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire and uplift those who had the privilege of knowing her.
In lieu of flowers, Debbie wished for donations to the BC Cancer Foundation for the great care they gave her and in continued support of the great work they do
