Few men possess the compassion, integrity and intelligence that Jamie did. His accomplishments were unparalleled, his career unprecedented and his dedication unwavering.
To meet Jamie was to adore him, his laugh was infectious, his smile was wide and his eyes were kind, yet a little mischievous. The love he had for his wife, pups and whole family made us feel on top of the world. The allegiance Jamie had to his military comrades was tested and true. Jamie was a leader who lead by example. As a physician he was calming, but he always felt privileged to assist others. Every extra moment he had he would be learning. Jamie read about martial arts, religion, history and new medical breakthroughs. Jamie's mind was never idle. To be in Jamie's presence was to know what a true hero was, not only did he save lives for a living as a doctor, but he also helped protect our freedom as a solider.
Jamie had many names, JT, Doc, Wiz, The Kid, Doc T, Boo and The Man. To say JT will be missed is mundane, JT leaves a void in our hearts, our home and this world, that will never be filled.
