A wife, a mother, a nana too,
This is the legacy we have from you.
You TAUGHT US LOVE and how to fight,
You gave us strength, you gave us might.
A stronger person would be hard to find,
And in your heart, you were always kind.
You fought for us all in one way or another,
Not just as a wife not just as a mother.
For all us you gave your best.
Now the time has come for you to rest.
So go in peace, you’ve earned your sleep,
Your love in our hearts, we’ll Eternally Keep.

Mom courageously fought Cancer for over 20 years, and she was always willing to try new treatments in the hopes that other Cancer patients would not have to go through what she did and that one day they  would find a cure for all Cancers. Through her journey the BC Cancer Agency and her doctors have been there providing incredible  support and treatments.

Mary’s love and compassion for her family, friends and the world was truly inspirational. She was a fighter and a healer at the same time donating thousands of hours to Cancer patients by giving Therapeutic Touch and Reiki sessions or simply just being there to listen.

We will truly miss her light and energy, but will hold her spirit closely in our hearts.
