This Tribute Page has been created in the memory and honour of Pat Hurlburt, who passed peacefully after a challenging course following his diagnosis of a retroperitoneal sarcoma.

During his treatment course, Pat was cared for by the Sarcoma team at the B.C. Cancer Agency, where he and his family received exceptional, kind, and compassionate care. In particular, the care provided by Dr. Alannah Smrke and Dr. Andrea MacNeill, as well as the incredible healthcare staff, stood out to Pat as going above and beyond the call of duty.

At Pat's request, we ask that in lieu of any gifts or flowers for him or his family, that donations be made to the B.C. Cancer Agency, where they will be specifically directed to programs focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of Undifferentiated Pleomorphic Sarcoma
