In Memory of Sally Chew
Sally Chew was born on November 4, 1960, in Vancouver to her loving parents Yone Hing and Lai Ying Chew. She later married Bennet Lau in 1988, and together they raised two beautiful daughters, Felicya and Natashya, who were the pride and joy of her life.
She had a deep passion for traveling with her family, exploring new places, and discovering hidden gems in every destination. One of her favorite joys was trying out new restaurants, always eager to share meals and create memories with her loved ones. Sally also had a special love for all things Korean culture, especially BTS, whose music brought her happiness and energy.
To her family and friends, Sally was the rock, the one who was always there, offering love, encouragement, and unwavering support. She never said no when someone needed her, giving selflessly and wholeheartedly throughout her life.
In late July 2025, Sally was diagnosed with liver cancer. Though her battle was short, she fought with incredible strength and grace, surrounded by the love and care of her family until the very end. On September 10, 2025, Sally passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion that will be always remembered.
In loving memory of Sally Chew, donations may be made to support cancer research.
Her family deeply appreciates all the love and support during this difficult time.
