SUPPORTING RESEARCH AND CARE AT BC CANCER IN HONOUR OF SAMIRA JAKLIS
On Thursday, May 21st, Heaven gained a new angel; my grandmother, Samira Jaklis. She passed away peacefully with my dad by her side, aged 80, after a 12-year battle against stage 4 breast cancer.
During those 12 years, the care she received was exemplary across the board. In her memory, she wants to honour everyone who helped keep her going, including the hardworking doctors, nurses, researchers, and everyone involved in the fight against cancer.
