Thi-Hoan Trieu had a seven year journey with non-small cell lung cancer, supported by the care at BC Cancer. She ultimately passed  due to pneumonia and complications of advanced lung disease related to her cancer progression on October 24, 2023. She passed peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.
