Libby will perform an all-Chopin program, a musical expression of the emotional journey of her family’s walk through living with cancer, coping with loss and sustaining hope.

The program features works by Frédéric Chopin: Nocturne Op. 48, No. 1, Fantasy in F minor Op. 49, Preludes Op. 28, Nos. 19-24, Berceuse Op. 57 and the Andante Spianato and Grande Polonaise Op. 22.

Speakers:
Dr. Bernie Eigl (Medical Oncologist, BC Cancer Vancouver and Provincial Director, Clinical Trials)
Fatima Hassam (Associate Vice President, BC Cancer Foundation)

All proceeds from ticket sales and online fundraising will be donated to support testicular cancer research through the BC Cancer Foundation.

Cliff was diagnosed with late stage testicular cancer at the age of 39, which metastasized to his lungs and brain. He fought like a warrior for four years and received the very best care and treatment at the BC Cancer Agency and at VGH.

Libby’s family is indebted to the wise, meticulous and compassionate care by his team of oncologists, specialists and nurses, headed by Dr. Bernie Eigl, who were instrumental in providing Cliff with four bonus years to spend with his family.

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Fazioli piano by Showcase Pianos.
