About the 5th Annual Cypress Challenge

The Glotman Simpson Cycling Club is thrilled to present their 5th Annual Cypress Challenge benefitting the BC Cancer Foundation. This year's event is raising money for pancreatic cancer research taking place at the BC Cancer Agency.

This year riders once again have the option to ride to the First Peak Look-Out or all the way to the top of Cypress.

• First Peak Look-out is an all ages untimed ride 5km up to the First Peak Look-Our. This is a perfect opportunity for first time participants to tackle Cypress
• Ride to the Top is a timed 12km ride to the top of Cypress. With 15 ride categories the ride to the top is sure to be fun for a wide range of cyclists

Event details

When: Saturday, August 18, 2012 - 7:30am sign in / 9:00am start (pre-registration will be available on Friday August 17th from 5:30-8:30 at 1661 West 5th Avenue)

Where: Cypress Mountain, West Vancouver - Start/Finish Line Reception at Mulgrave School - 2330 Cypress Lane, West Vancouver, B.C.

How: Participation with a suggested minimum donation of $40.

100% of the proceeds support the BC Cancer Foundation's Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund.
