This August, I'm participating in the Virtual Glotman Simpson Cypress Challenge to raise awareness and funds in support of pancreatic cancer research and care at BC Cancer.
I'm riding in memory of my mom, Elaine Thody, who lost her courageous battle of pancreatic cancer in September 2018. This year, 800 British Columbians are estimated to be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. 75% of these patients won’t survive the first year, and less than 10% will survive five years.
With your help, BC Cancer can continue its vital work to break down this deadly disease. Until a cure is found, together we can give the gift of time to those battling this painful cancer and their loved ones.
Thanking you in advance, for your generous donation.
Warmly,
Kristine
