On Sunday, August 11, we are cycling in the 12th Annual Cypress Challenge in support of the BC Cancer Foundation and pancreatic cancer research at BC Cancer.
Since 2008, Cypress Challenge has raised over $2.9 million towards finding solutions for the 800 British Columbians who are estimated to be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer this year. Seventy-five per cent of these patients won’t survive the first year, and less than 10 per cent will survive five years.
Investments in science and enhancements to care can make a significant difference for British Columbians - we don't want any more family members to have to go through this. The least we can do is challenge ourselves to overcome this mountain and hope to raise funds to detect/treat/cure PANCREATIC CANCER.
BC CAN change the outcome for each person facing this disease.
We are riding in memory of:
John (Dad, Papa)
Sharon (Mum, Nana)
Sharon's Brothers Clarence and Gary
Please consider making a small donation or help us raise awareness!
Thank you very much,
Robyn, Brianna and Mackenzie
