This August, team samsara is participating in the Virtual Glotman Simpson Cypress Challenge to raise awareness and funds in support of pancreatic cancer research and care at BC Cancer. On August 4, myself and my team will be riding 12km up Cypress mountain - though this pales in comparison to the uphill battle someone diagnosed with pancreatic cancer faces, we want to do our part to help outcomes for those patients and their families.
This year, 800 British Columbians are estimated to be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. 75% of these patients won’t survive the first year, and less than 10% will survive five years.
We need to act now.
With your help, BC Cancer can continue its vital work to break down this deadly disease.
No donation is too small; any amount is greatly appreciated!
