Welcome to my fundraising page for the 10th Annual Cypress Challenge in support of pancreatic cancer research. On Sunday, August 13, 2017 I will join hundreds of fellow cyclists, as we ride up Cypress Mountain and raise money to fund research into treatments and a cure for this terrible disease.
Since 2008, over $2.05 million has been raised through the Cypress Challenge.
This year, I'm riding to support my friends Melanie and Sam Simpson. Sam was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer late last year, and is currently under going treatment. More research means better treatments and better lives for people like Sam.
This is more than just a ride up a mountain; it is a journey towards a world free from cancer. One hundred per cent of the donations that we raise through the Cypress Challenge benefit leading-edge pancreatic cancer research at the BC Cancer Agency and Pancreas Centre BC.
Your support will really make a difference.
