Welcome to my fundraising page for the 10th Annual Glotman•Simpson Cypress Challenge in memory of Gary Heppell. Thanks for making it to this page. As you may know my Mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in December of 2016. Since then she has been having chemotherapy treatments on Tuesdays three weeks in a row then one week off. She was also admitted to a study for immunotherapy a new type of treatment which she gets once a month. Your donations will mean a lot to me and many other families going through a similar struggle.
On Sunday, August 13, 2017 I will join hundreds of fellow cyclists, as we ride up Cypress Mountain in support of the BC Cancer Foundation.
Since 2008, over $2.05 million has been raised through the Cypress Challenge.
This is more than just a ride up a mountain; it is a journey towards a world free from cancer. Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all cancers, with 600 people in B.C. expected to be diagnosed this year.
One hundred per cent of the donations that we raise through the Cypress Challenge benefit leading-edge pancreatic cancer research at the BC Cancer Agency and Pancreas Centre BC.
Your support will really make a difference.
