Welcome to my fundraising page for the 10th Annual Cypress Challenge. On Sunday, August 13, 2017 I will join hundreds of fellow cyclists, as we ride up Cypress Mountain in support of the BC Cancer Foundation. I will be riding for my cousin Nick Naunheimer who sadly passed away from pancreatic cancer in June.
This is more than just a ride up a mountain; it is a journey towards a world free from cancer. Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all cancers, with 600 people in B.C. expected to be diagnosed this year.
Since 2008, over $2.05 million has been raised through the Cypress Challenge.
One hundred per cent of the donations that we raise through the Cypress Challenge benefit leading-edge pancreatic cancer research at the BC Cancer Agency and Pancreas Centre BC.
Your support will really make a difference.
