Almost 3 years ago the world lost one of the most impactful people to Glioblastoma multiform brain cancer.
Her name was Isla Haywood. I cannot write enough words for how much she touched my soul, and taught me how to appreciate life, and was the type of person who did this to almost anyone she met.
She faught through radiation, chemotherapy, and recurring tumors for just over a year beyond her diagnosis with brain cancer. Her specific diagnosis and grade of Glioblastoma has horrifying results, and very low survival rates.
Help raise funds in order to further develop research and development and clinical trials to combat against this and all other forms of cancer.
This February, I've committed to Lose the Booze and give up alcohol for the entire month.
One in two people in our province will face cancer in their lifetime, so this is a cause I’m willing to be parched for.
Please, will you support me with a donation today? Your gift will directly support life-saving cancer research taking place at BC Cancer – and will play a huge role in keeping me motivated this month.
Thank you so much for your support!
