Capital City Fence-a-thon
Help Us Foil Cancer!
Capital City Fencer's Club is proud to present the 11th annual Fence-a-Thon, a twelve-hour, overnight fencing marathon to benefit the BC Cancer Foundation.
Fencers from around the Pacific Northwest will gather at Royal Oak Middle School on Saturday, May 27 to fence in the fencing event of the season: a competition, a midnight feast, all-night fencing and great prizes.
Entry fees, donations and pledges from participants will go to the BC Cancer Foundation in memory of friend and mentor Christian Vidosa, whose contributions helped Canada to make a name for itself on the world stage, and who passed away in 2004 following a battle with pancreatic cancer.
