One year ago, I lost my dad to cancer (angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma). His yearlong battle with this aggressive cancer made me aware of how important BC Cancer's work and research is.
Along with losing my dad, I also lost my gym partner. Neither of us were very motivated to go to the gym, but it always worked out that either one of us would convince the other to go even on days when we were tired.
This May I’m participating in Workout to Conquer Cancer to get moving and support BC Cancer patients! I'm joining others across the province and beyond to move, no matter where we are, every single day of the month.
So, as I get ready to sweat my way through May, please show your support by making a donation today.
