This May I’ll be participating in Workout to Conquer Cancer presented by RYU Apparel, where I’ll be joining hundreds of others across the province as we get moving every single day of the month in support of cancer research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer.
One in two British Columbians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. I've committed to break a sweat and fundraise to improve the outcome for people facing this disease across the province. With your support, we will make a significant contribution to the world-class research conducted by the clinicians and scientists at BC Cancer. Their work is providing exciting new evidence that is changing the way cancer is prevented, detected and treated.

May 15th - 50 minutes of Karaoke Spin Class!!
May 16th - 2K walk with Mischy & 50 Minute Spin Class!
May 17th - 50 minutes of Spin!!
May 18th - Double Day - two 50 minute spin classes & 2.5K walk with baby girl!
May 19th - Double Day - two 50 minute spin classes & 2.5K walk with baby girl!
May 20th - Double Day - two 50 minute spin classes!!
May 21st - I had a doctor's appointment and needed to cash in on a day off! SORRY!
** Update - 25 Spin Classes completed for the 30 rides in 31 days May challenge !! ***
My body is craving some strength training, but this challenge was good for me mentally and physically. I have never really enjoyed Cardio, so this showed me it could be fun & I also lost and kept off 8lbs!! :)

May 8th - Woke up before the sun for a 50 minute Spin Class + 3K walk with Mischa!!
May 9th - 50 minute spin class & a 1.5K walk with Mischa!
May 10th - up early for a 50 minute Spin Class! Wooo!
May 11th - 110 minutes of Spin!! Over 700 calories burned!
May 12th - 110 minutes of Spin! Over 700 calories burned!
May 13th - 50 minutes of Spin Class & a 15 minute walk with Mischa!
May 14th - 50 minutes of Spin Class!!
3359 Calories burned Spinning this week .. yeeehaww!
Note; you must be thinking WOW this girl Spin's a lot, there happens to be a 30 rides in 31 days challenge at my Spin Studio going on at the same time.

May 1st - I walked 3KM with Mischa & I burned over 400 calories at Spin Class!
May 2nd - I walked 3KM with Mischa & I burned over 400 calories at Spin Class!
May 3rd - Mischa and I went for a 6KM hike after work to celebrate the weekend!
May 4th - I burned over 450 calories at Spin Class & walked the Sea Wall in Vancouver with Mischa!
May 5th - I walked 2KM with Mischa & burned about 350 calories at Spin Class!
May 6th - I walked 2KM with Mischa & did two Spin Classes in a row, coming in at 600 calories burned!
May 7th - I walked 3 KM with Mischa :)
In week one - I have sweated for 780 minutes, or 13 hours, coming in at a whopping 3561 Calories Burned!!
Note; my sweet dog Mischa did not realise what she was getting herself into here! More updates to come ! :)
