This May I’ll be participating in Workout to Conquer Cancer presented by RYU Apparel, where I’ll be joining hundreds of others across the province as we get moving every single day of the month in support of cancer research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer.
One in two British Columbians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, many of my friends and family have already been affected by it. I've committed to break a sweat and fundraise to improve the outcome for people facing this disease across the province. With your support, we will make a significant contribution to the world-class research conducted by the clinicians and scientists at BC Cancer. Their work is providing exciting new evidence that is changing the way cancer is prevented, detected and treated.

Week 2 Wrap Up
Another big week of workouts is in the bag! Didn't get a chance to climb a mountain, or anything exciting this week, but I did get a whole bunch of good auditions in!
Feeling very energized and healthy (and ridiculously hungry) these days. Almost to the halfway point, and am already beating personal bests, and doing better than ever at the gym.
The Sunday will be a MONSTER day for cardio. Looking forward to that, looks like a 15km run is going to happen! (Hope its not too rainy)
Looking forward to the second half of this month, and to try some new activities to hit my daily goals!

Woke up extremely sore from climbing two peaks of The Chief yesterday... Didn't slow me down in this challenge!
Hit the gym hard, got close to a few personal bests, bumped into some friends. We pushed each other even harder. Was a great workout.
I have an audition tomorrow for a character that has to be in great shape.. Going to be a fun pre-audition workout tomorrow, stay tuned!

Been a busy weekend for me with my little brother coming downtown to visit me on Friday, through to Saturday.
That didn't stop me from having a great workout late last night for day 4!
Woke up first thing this morning to beat the traffic out to Squamish to climb the first two peaks at the Chief.
An exhausting day, definitely learned that I need some more water for next time. Super happy I got to go climb a mountain this month though!
Back to regular gym tomorrow!

Had a great workout today, focusing mainly on cardio with some shoulder training thrown in. Body is definitely still sore from the first few days. Going to be a challenge to get through the whole month. Going to do another big cardio day tomorrow to prepare myself for a big hike on Sunday!

Ooof. Long day for me..Got a great chest day in, hung out with some great work friends (you all keep me sane), met some new ones.

Very excited to take part in this amazing challenge for an amazing cause. I got inspired by Madison Smith to sweat it out all month long, and I dedicate this month to all my friends and family who have, or currently are battling cancer. Love you all!
Day one was a leg day for me at Anytime Fitness West End
I hate leg day. With a passion. Only suiting that I start a challenge facing my least favourite day off the top.
Excited to see where this month takes me, already have some intense hikes planned that'll really push my limits.
