This May (my birthday month!!) I’ll be participating in Workout to Conquer Cancer, where I’ll be joining hundreds of others across the province as we get moving every single day of the month in support of cancer research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer.
One in two British Columbians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. I've committed to break a sweat and fundraise to improve the outcome for people facing this disease across the province. With your support, we will make a significant contribution to the world-class research conducted by the clinicians and scientists at BC Cancer. Their work is providing exciting new evidence that is changing the way cancer is prevented, detected and treated.

Went for another walk today around the neighbourhood (15,344 steps) and finished the day off with 30 minutes of ab and glute workouts.
WE DID IT EVERYONE!! 31 days of workouts (3 of which are rest days) and we have beat our goal of $500. Thank you so much to everyone for their generous support.

Had a really good workout with a friend through zoom today! We did:
- 20 mins HIIT
- 40 mins ab, glute and leg
- 10 mins ab
I was totally passed out on the floor after but that's always a sign of a good workout!

Completed 45 mins of ab & glute exercises then headed outside and did 30 minutes of interval training (high knees, jump jack w/ narrow jump, squat to toe taps, step ups, walking lunges). My legs definitely felt like noodles after

Tackled 25 mins of abs + glute exercises (I'm doing a 25 day challenge and I'm on day 8 of it) and did round two in the evening with 15 minutes of arm exercises with dumbbells! It burns so goooood.

Lots of variety today! I did a few virtual workouts with a friend through Zoom by following workout videos on Youtube.
- 25 minutes of ab and glute workout
- 12 minutes full body HIIT
- 15 minute low impact cardio/full body workout
- 15 minutes boxing

Today's Monday and Mondays are for quarantine/virtual workouts with friends! As usual, we tackled some workout videos on Youtube:
- 10 minutes HIIT
- 20 minutes full body workout
- 10 minutes ab workout
- finished off with shoulder mobility stretches + exercises
Thank you for all your support! We are so close to reaching my original goal of $350!! As a result I have set a small increase of my goal to $400. I know we can reach this and increase the goal again!!

Had a bit of a relaxing day today and went for a 1.5 hour walk around the neighbourhood with 14,283 steps and ended the evening with 30 minutes of resistance band exercises!
