This May I’m participating in Workout to Conquer Cancer to get moving and support BC Cancer patients! I'm joining others across the province to move, no matter where we are, every single day of the month.
One in two British Columbians are affected by cancer. That's why I've committed to move and raise funds for patients, survivors and those we've lost. This challenge is more than exercise, it's about a community who believe we can make an impact, even from our homes.
So, as I get ready to sweat my way through May for every patient who cannot, please show your support by making a donation today.
Where to find my workouts?

The last few days have gone by really quickly. I've been following a workout program including AMRAP, EMOM, and supersets/trisets. I also took a rest day on the 14th, as my body really needed it.
I'm starting to see a lot of the progress that I was already feeling which is also exciting!

Today was chest day. Cheat presses have become something I enjoy, as I'm able to up my weight with good progress more frequently than some other exercises.
I took my first time lapse video of a workout today, which made me nervous but worked out well!
Today's DJ set was Yellowclaw.

May 09 - 11
Well the last few days have flown by. May 9th was am AMRAP workout, which was full body targeted.
May 10th was both my dads birthday, and mother's day which made it challenging to find time to workout as I committed to a lot of cooking. Somehow I managed a 30 minute legs and core EMOM (Every minute on the minute) workout. This was perfect for me because it had mom in it, and was on mother's day.
Today is the 11th. I returned to my second job, which again made it hard to self-motivate to work out. After an 8.5 hour shift, I came home and finished a 55 minute, 5 superset whole body workout.
I'm proud of this weekend!

I have FINALLY explored Brookswood. I've been working out there for 2.5 years, but haven't walked around the community much. Today on my lunch hour, on of my coworkers took me on a 45 minute walk around in the sun. I might have to make this a weekly routine.

Today's workout was a great walk around Campbell valley park. It was my first time there, so I was thankful that I ended up on a 40 minute trail, and didn't get lost on a 4 hour one like one of my coworkers!

I'm getting into a great routine! Im at the point where I'm excited to come home, put on some music, and workout.
Tonight's workout was upper body, and used more resistance than weights which I really enjoyed. I'll be adding single arm lat pulldowns to my workouts more often.
Tonight's DJ set was saymyname, from EDC 2018(?).

Today was a tough day. My full body workout consisted of five supersets, and I'm exhausted. It was a great welcome back from an active rest day, and I expect to be sore tomorrow.
Today's workout set was the last half of a Marshmello set, and the first half of KSHMR, both from hard summer 2018.

May 4ths workout was a hike around sasamat lake! Fortunately this trail is still open, as it's my all time favorite.

Today's workout was a tough one. Chest and Triceps. The rest of my body is sore from the last few days, so this felt like the best option.
Today's workout set was a Troyboi set from the Insomniac rewind (YouTube).
Tomorrow I'll be going for a walk to stay active, but still give my body some time to recover.

Today was legs and core day. Fortunately I had the day off, so today's workout ended up being about an hour. The hour included 4 super sets, and my personal favorite leg exercise - Bulgarian split squats.
I've been really enjoying having DJ sets on while I work out, as there's no end to a song which cuts out me having to constantly change songs. Today's set was a Tiesto after hours set, which is a slower tempo than usual.
