(Margaret) Ann Lightfoot, 64, of Victoria, B.C. passed away peacefully November 12, 2014 with her family by her side. Born to Gordon and Teresa Sauder on November 1, 1950 in Saskatoon, Ann graduated from Lord Byng High School in Vancouver in 1968 and completed a Pharmacy Degree at UBC in 1973. She married Allan Lightfoot on August 3, 1973 and they moved to Prince George in 1974 where she worked at the Prince George Regional Hospital as a pharmacist. Ann was thorough, dedicated to the welfare of her patients and genuinely loved her job. Later in her career, she worked at VIHA in Victoria, where she retired in 2012. She was an avid birder, who also enjoyed music, dancing, cross-country skiing, traveling, and trying new things. Ann was exceedingly kind, generous, fun loving, and full of curiosity. She is survived by her husband, Allan, 3 children, Brian, Katie, and Susan, and countless other family and friends.
