CAVERZAN; NÉE HENTSCHEL, JUTTA
December 30, 1938 - December 13, 2020

It is with great sadness we announce our Mom, Jutta and Oma, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 13th, 2020 in her home at age 81 surrounded by family, after a short, brave fight with cancer.

Jutta was born in Kreuzberg, Berlin, Germany on December 30th, 1938. At the age of 21, she immigrated to Edgewater, British Columbia and built a life for her family in Canada. Family was her greatest joy and she will always be remembered for her selfless spirit, unconditional love, gentle heart, and her plum cake.

She is survived by her husband Johnny; Children: Patricia St Hilaire, Theron (Tania) Knape, Robert (Penny) Caverzan, Andre (Jay-Anna) Caverzan; Grandchildren: Amanda, Cyrena (Craig), Amadon (Caitlin), Connor, Kiana, Zachary, Isaac and Rozalan; Great-grandchildren: Everett, Norin and Georgiana; Siblings Guido (Canada); Axel, Gudrun, Isa, Oda (Germany); Predeceased by her Mother Emma, Father Bruno, Siblings Walter and Ute.

We would like to express a special thank you to the Tri-Cities palliative care team for the exceptional care provided, and to Dr. Karen Gelmon for the excellent care 31 years ago. A Catholic Mass will be held at a later date when safe and appropriate.
