On Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 10:00 AM, members of the local rugby community will walk, run, or jog for 80 minutes (the length of an adult rugby game) around the Apple Bowl to raise funds for the BC Cancer Foundation in support of patients with cancer and their families as they journey through their treatment.
Rugby is appreciative of the more than 100 years of support it has received from the local community. The 80 Minutes fundraiser is a way for us to give something back to the Central Okanagan.
Local rugby enthusiasts are encouraged to participate in this 80 Minute fundraiser, through joining us at the Apple Bowl on September 23rd or by sponsoring a team or individual involved in the event.”
BC Cancer Foundation
We are the fundraising partner of BC Cancer. Every dollar we raise stays right here at BC Cancer—Kelowna to advance research and enhance care for the people of the Southern Interior.
At the BC Cancer Foundation we believe that with your help BC CAN make a difference in the lives of all British Columbians. We’re igniting the progress to break down cancer, piece by piece, in the labs and clinics.
By working with people like you, who believe that investments in science and enhancements to care can make a significant difference for British Columbians, we are confident that BC CAN change the outcome for each person facing this disease.
Together, BC CAN break down cancer.
