This May I’ll be participating in Workout to Conquer Cancer, where I’ll be joining hundreds of others across the province as we get moving every single day of the month in support of cancer research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer.
I'm committed to exceeding my accomplishments from 2018 (31 workouts & 386,729 steps). That means I will be doing a few "double workout days" throughout the month and aiming for an average 13k steps/day.
I've also set a lofty goal of exceeding my 2018 fundraising total of $3,355 and I need your help! 40 of my friends, family and colleagues generously sponsored me last year, and I hope I can count on your renewed support (and some new donors too)!
All of this is for an incredible cause. One in two Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. I've committed to break a sweat and fundraise to improve the outcome for people facing this disease. With your support, we will make a significant contribution to the world-class research and care at BC Cancer.
