The Campaign

The BC Cancer Foundation has launched a $15 million campaign to expand BC Cancer – Victoria and fully fund the new 12,000 sq. foot BC Cancer – Victoria Integrated Care and Research Pavilion. This is the first fully donor-funded BC Cancer building in the province.

To support this historic campaign, the Campbell family will match your donations to BC Cancer – Victoria, until May 31, 2024, up to a total of $500,000, doubling the impact of contributions from the community.

The Campbell Family

Many will know the Campbells for their local businesses and philanthropic work across Vancouver Island, including as long-time champions of the BC Cancer Foundation.

Alex and Jo Campbell chaired the fundraising campaign for the last significant expansion of BC Cancer – Victoria in 2011. Now their children, Lorne, Alex and Bonnie, are continuing this legacy – for families today and in the next generation.

“Supporting the BC Cancer Foundation has always been a way for our family to touch the lives of as many people on Vancouver Island as possible. We have an opportunity to improve cancer care today and to play a part in future cures. I hope others in the community will join in this unique opportunity to improve the lives of so many,” says Lorne Campbell on behalf of the family.

From April 1 through to May 31, 2024, your donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar to double your impact for BC Cancer – Victoria.
