Go Beyond Belief this March: Help Bring Enhanced Cancer Care for Patients to Vancouver Island
Vancouver Island grocers have united to raise money for BC Cancer – Victoria’s new Integrated Care and Research Pavilion and enhance Supportive Care for cancer patients across our region.
From March 1-21, $2.65 of every potted gerbera, cyclamen, violet or begonia sold will go directly towards the BC Cancer Foundation’s historic campaign to fully fund and renovate a 11,000 square foot building that will house many of BC Cancer – Victoria’s Supportive Care services.
Buy in-store or donate today to help enhance care for patients in our communities.
These services are vital to preventing and managing adverse side effects of cancer and its treatment —both physical and psychological — throughout a patient’s journey. They include programs like Patient & Family Counselling, Psychiatry and Hereditary Counselling.
Research shows that having a separate space for these services benefits patients immensely, as returning to the place where they received treatment can be triggering.
By supporting this campaign, you’re joining in a unique moment to shape the future of cancer care.
The local grocery leaders working to harness the power of the community include: Red Barn Market, Country Grocer, Thrifty Foods, Fairway market and Tru Value Foods.
Make your gift today to support families facing cancer in our communities. Together, we can go beyond belief.
