In mid-June, our friend, colleague, family member and all-round wonderful human being, Risha Golby, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
This August, we are participating in the Virtual Glotman Simpson Cypress Challenge to raise awareness and funds in support of pancreatic cancer research and care at BC Cancer.
This year, 800 British Columbians are estimated to be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. 70% of these patients won’t survive the first year, and less than 10% will survive five years.
Investments in science and enhancements to care can make a significant difference for British Columbians. BC CAN change the outcome for each person facing this disease.
With your help, BC Cancer can continue its vital work to break down this deadly disease.
