This August, I'm participating in the Virtual Glotman Simpson Cypress Challenge with my sister and others to raise awareness and funds in support of pancreatic cancer research and care at BC Cancer.
As some of you know, my sister was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2018. The life saving treatments she received at BC Cancer would not have been possible without the generous support of donors to BC Cancer.
This year, 800 British Columbians are estimated to be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. 75% of these patients won’t survive the first year, and less than 10% will survive five years.
My sister continues to do everything she can to beat the odds and we want to help others do the same. I will be forever greatful for the treaments she received so please support us in this challenge to raise funds and hope for pancreatic cancer research and care.
On August 8th, our team "positively purple" will climb Cypress Mountain - Please consider making a donation!
Thanks in advance for your support!
