14th Annual Glotman Simpson Cypress Challenge

Pioneer Susan

This August, we are participating again in the Virtual Glotman Simpson Cypress Challenge to raise awareness and funds in support of pancreatic cancer research and care at BC Cancer.

This is a cause dear to our family. After a 2 year battle, pancreatic cancer took our Mom's (Susan) life in 2019. During her life she was a kind, caring person putting others before herself. During her fight with pancreatic our Mom was a guinea pig or pioneer as she preferred to call it. Funds raised will help to go towards research and clinical trials such as she participated in. We will also be riding for Uncle Tony this year who currently a pancreatic cancer patient. Lets not forget about Alex Trebek host of Jeopardy and all those others who have suffered from pancreatic cancer.

Thank you to every one who has donated in the past and we are asking for your generosity again.

For Susan, For Tony, For the Future

This year, 800 British Columbians are estimated to be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. 70% of these patients won’t survive the first year, and less than 10% will survive five years.

Investments in science and enhancements to care can make a significant difference for British Columbians. BC CAN change the outcome for each person facing this disease.

We need to act now.

With your help, BC Cancer can continue its vital work to break down this deadly disease.

Please consider making a donation.
