Honouring a Life. Making a Difference; All Proceeds Benefit BC Cancer
THE 2ND ANNUAL SWING FOR MEG!
To those who supported last year’s tournament, thank you for helping transform our vision into something far greater than we imagined. Your generosity turned a simple idea into a powerful tribute—one that continues to ripple outward in ways we never expected.
And to those learning about our event for the first time, welcome. We’re honoured to have you consider joining this community of generosity, remembrance, and support.
Why We Swing
This summer, we will be hosting the 2nd Annual Swing for Meg Golf Tournament, with all proceeds going directly to BC Cancer. The event will take place on Sunday, June 28th, 2026, at Tsawwassen Springs Golf Club.
This tournament holds deep personal significance for me. It is held in loving memory of my sister, whom I lost to cancer three years ago this July.
Golf held a special place in her life. She was humble about her abilities, but anyone who played with her knew how naturally the game came to her. Hosting this tournament in her honour feels like the most fitting way to celebrate who she was while raising money to support others who are fighting the same battle.
What We Achieved Together
Last year, we set what felt like an ambitious fundraising goal of $10,000. Thanks to the generosity of people like you, we didn’t just meet that goal — we surpassed it in an extraordinary way, raising over $50,000. The impact of that support was felt far beyond the tournament itself, and it has inspired us to make this year’s event even bigger and better.
How You Can Help
Every dollar raised brings us closer to better treatments, better outcomes, and more time for families like mine. And whether it’s a small contribution or a major gift, your support truly makes a difference. Each act of generosity helps honour my sister’s memory in a way that continues to create hope for others.
Thank you for helping us carry Meg’s spirit forward and for standing with those who continue to fight.
