Last year, I lost my grandpa to cancer and I have always wanted to do something for him. 

On April 27th, 2025, I am participating in the Vancouver Sun Run with the goal to raise funds for the BC Cancer Foundation. I am planning on wearing his watch that he gave me while I run the 10km, while also choosing my bib to carry both my first name and his first name. 

In addition, to losing my grandpa last February, I also have lost a family dog to a two-year battle with cancer and my Popo had fought breast cancer and survived, continuing on to do amazing things for her family and for the Chinese community in Vancouver.

I am trying my best to honour them, starting with doing this year's Sun Run to raise money.
