On Saturday, November 16th I am participating in the 27th annual Run Inn the Woods to raise awareness and funds in support of research and care at BC Cancer.

One in two people in our province will face cancer in their lifetime and BC Cancer is igniting progress to break down cancer, piece by piece, in its labs and clinics.

I am running for two Barbs in my life. One Barb I lost to cancer and I miss her every single day. The other Barb is supporting her husband Ron, in the fight of his life to beat this horrid disease.  However, this is not unique. We have all been touched by cancer in some way and, with your help, we can change the fear of cancer into hope for the life beyond it.
