Cancer is a deeply personal topic for me. My grandmother, to whom I was incredibly close, passed away from this disease in 2021. It’s painful to think that our medical system couldn’t catch it in time.

Now, My aunt is currently fighting for her life, and every day is a war zone. It breaks my heart that, from this distance, all I can do is pray.

However, prayer isn’t the only thing I can do. This past weekend, while hosting a charity tournament for United Way, I learned about the 4 Ts: Time, Talent, Treasure, and Ties. I realized that in a chaotic world, we all have at least one of these to offer.

On March 21st, I’m putting my Time and Talent to work by participating in Dodge for the Cure, a 16-team tournament raising funds for cancer research and care at BC Cancer. I’ll also be donating my own Treasure. As for my Ties... that’s where you come in. I’m asking my network to join this cause. Every dollar helps move us toward a world where "catching it too late" is no longer the reality.
