Vancouver Sun Run x BC Cancer Foundation
On April 18, 2021 I am participating in the Vancouver Sun Run, raising funds for the BC Cancer Foundation.
As some of you may know, I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer in August of 2020. I have just completed the chemotherapy portion of my treatment, and will be done with surgery and radiation in the coming weeks. I am making it my goal to be able to run 10km again by April, and I am so grateful to have the support of my friends and family who are joining me on this virtual run.
I have had all my treatments at BC Cancer and have them to thank for my life.
The BC Cancer Foundation is the fundraising partner of BC Cancer. Every dollar raised stays right here, advancing research and enhancing care for the people of B.C.
With your help, BC CAN make a difference in the lives of all British Columbians. One in two people in our province will face cancer in their lifetime and BC Cancer is igniting progress to break down cancer, piece by piece, in the labs and clinics.
Investments in science and enhancements to care can make a significant difference for British Columbians. BC CAN change the outcome for each person facing this disease.
Together, BC CAN break down cancer.
Please consider making a donation.
Thank you for your support!
