A world free from cancer is the vision of BC Cancer Foundation and we want to help them work towards this vision by providing our financial support.

This fundraising page has been established in loving memory and honour of all PRT employees who lost their lives to cancer. They are all greatly missed.

In memory and honour of our dear colleagues and friends

PRT lost a great leader when Dan Davies passed away in the fall of 2004 after a long battle with cancer. He was one of the founders of our company who played a key role in PRT's history. Although a cure eluded Dan, his courageous and tenacious fight and participation in advanced cancer research through clinical trials and experiments provides hope and inspiration to others. The Dan Davies Memorial Fund was established in March 2005 to honour his memory and to help others in their fight against cancer. Since then we have managed to fundraise over $100,000 thanks to generous personal and corporate donations.

Sadly, over the years we have lost several valuable employees and great friends to various types of cancer. Therefore, as a continuation of these fundraising efforts, we decided to create a broader fund called the PRT Employees Memorial Fund. This is our way to honour our late colleagues and their families affected by this disease, keep their memory alive and to help others. 

Let us remember that there are others out there - even amongst us - who are still struggling with cancer and fighting for their lives. Let's help them fight back!

How does my donation help?

Your donation will help save lives and make a difference in cancer patients' care by supporting innovative cancer research. The money will be used by the Foundation wherever the need is greatest.

Once your gift is received, the BC Cancer Foundation will send you a charitable tax receipt.
