Jack ran for cancer on Nov 8 and 9, 2024.  Thanks to the geneerous support of many community members and friends, and to Ken and The Strober Foundation, he raised over $7,200 - surpassing his goal of $2,500.

Inspired by how people have committed to help him, he has now decided to swim lengths totalling 2.5km at the Salmon Arm Recreation Centre on a date to be determined.

He is raising money for cancer research.  He has partnered with BC Cancer Foundation. 

Jack found a hero in Terry Fox and the journey that Terry started. Jack wants to continue Terry's legacy.  Jack has also known victims and survivors of cancer and wanted to help in some way.
