Kathy dedicated her life to helping others; a passionate nurse, teacher and friend who wouldn't hesitate to support anyone in her circle. Her family was the most important thing to her and she led by example while encouraging them to be the best versions of themselves. Kathy will be dearly missed by all and her spirit will continue to live on through all who knew her.

In 2020, family and friends generously supported BC Cancer Foundation in honour of Kathy.

We are seeking to raise additional funds to reach a minimum of $100,000 in order to establish an endowed awards program for Radiation Oncology Medical Students at BC Cancer. This will ensure a legacy of support for the best and brightest young members of the team, encouraging their learning and research pursuits. Retaining talent and building a strong team starts with mentorship, and engaging medical students early in their training can help to recruit them to specialties like radiation oncology to benefit patients and families for decades to come.
