About the Immunotherapy Ovarian Cancer Research

The Deeley Research Centre is the epicentre of pioneering immunotherapy research which leads to more precise and potent cancer treatment. The centre’s CAR-T-cell therapy uses a patient’s own modified immune cells to destroy their cancer cells. CAR-T-cells are revolutionizing cancer care with remarkable clinical results for blood cancers. The research team’s next major goal is to use the same procedure to break the solid tumour barrier by developing a way to target ovarian cancer.
