In loving memory of Dr. Hing Chanpong, who peacefully departed this world on Friday, Jan 12, 2024, after a remarkable and fulfilling life. Born in Mauritius, he attended dental school at the University of Edinburgh, marking the beginning of a lifelong commitment to the field of dentistry. Dr. Chanpong's incredible 61-year career in dentistry led him to practice his passion in Mauritius, England, and finally Canada.

A fervent exercise enthusiast, he embraced an active lifestyle, participating in numerous Sun Runs and conquering the Grouse Grind multiple times each year. In addition to his love for a healthy lifestyle, Dr. Chanpong also found joy in making wine and tending to his garden.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 67 years, Mireille, and leaves behind a legacy through his four children, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Their cherished memories will forever echo his love and warmth.
