Andrea Ellen Morison, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on January 24, 2024, in Fort St. John, British Columbia, at the age of 57. She was born on November 2, 1966, in Geraldton, Ontario, to Murray and Carole Morison.

She is survived by her loving husband, John Norrish, and her two children, Matthew Morison-Norrish and Elaena Morison-Norrish, as well as her stepdaughter, Jackie (Devan) Swallom. Andrea was a cherished sister to Mark (Jenny) Morison of Okotoks, Alberta, and John (Denise) Morison of Dryden, Ontario. She was also a beloved niece to Monica Wolfe (Pat Haslam) of Port Perry, Ontario and Marjorie Lamont of Flinton, Ontario. Andrea leaves behind many other family members in Canada and the United States, all of whom will deeply miss her presence in their lives.

Her love for travel and adventure was evident in her passion for cycling, skiing, hiking, skating, playing tennis, family trips to the tropics and walking with her faithful canine companion, Coney. She was happiest when she was active. She found peace and joy in spending her summers at camp on Coney Island on Lake of The Woods, Ontario. She also took time to read books and relax in a hammock on the porch, her "Happy Place".

In all aspects of her life, Andrea approached every endeavor with unwavering positivity, integrity, loyalty, and determination to do her best. She always made time for fun, friendship, and exercise, and her infectious energy and zest for life were truly remarkable.

Andrea battled breast cancer twice in her life. Once in 2015 and again in 2022 where it turned into metastatic breast cancer. spreading to her bones and liver, and eventually to her brain resulting in CNS disease. She was an inspiration to all who knew her as she endured her illness.

The Morison/Norrish family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Mike Wright, Dr. Karen Gelmon, Dr. Nathalie Levasseu, the Home Care Nursing team, and the nurses and staff at the Fort St. John Cancer Clinic for their exceptional care and support over the years. They also express their deepest appreciation to friends and neighbours who provided meals, prayers, encouragement and helped with daily activities. it was all of these people that enabled family to provide palliative care for Andrea at home, as she had wished.

Andrea's absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her, but her spirit will live on in the memories and hearts of those she touched. Her legacy of love, strength, and compassion will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to have known her. Andrea's light will forever shine brightly in the lives of her family, friends, and community. May she rest in peace.
