THE CAMPAIGN

WOMEN GOING BEYOND unites women leaders across Vancouver Island in a philanthropic effort to accelerate access, supportive care and innovative research for women’s cancer care.

Launched in collaboration between the BC Cancer Foundation and our Vancouver Island team of campaign champions, WOMEN GOING BEYOND is helping to ensure life beyond cancer is within reach.

Generous supporter, Helen Edwards, has pledged to match donations to the campaign dollar-for-dollar, up to $75,000 until April 30, 2024 or until the matching funds are depleted.

WHY NOW?

Access, supportive care and innovation have never been more crucial in cancer care.

As our Island population continues to grow and age over the next decade, the demand for cancer services is expected to increase by 60%. BC Cancer - Victoria must be ready.

We can meet this growing demand for cancer services with the same passion for community, supportive networks, and excellence that women bring to the table every day.

WOMEN GOING BEYOND is raising funds to expand supportive care services at BC Cancer - Victoria.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

From March 1 through to April 30, 2024, we are moving community leaders to contribute, connect, and activate their networks as we raise a minimum of $500,000 towards expanded supportive care services at BC Cancer - Victoria.
