Jerry peacefully passed away on July 20th with her four children by her side. She was predeceased by her husband Gerry (1978) and her four sisters, Evelyn, Verda, Rita and Doris. She is survived by her four children, Lea(Elven), Jim, Joan(Lance) and John(Gwen). Eight grandchildren, Jenny, Kevin, Patrick, Clint, Brittany, Nicole, Johnny and Richelle and numerous nieces and nephews. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and was a gentle woman who took on life’s challenges with courage, determination and class. She was a very special Grandmother who meant the world to her Grandchildren and had a cookie jar unmatched. “4 o’clock” will always remind us of her and make us smile. The “GREAT GENERATION” has lost another one. She was in St. Jude’s Parish for over 40 years, involved with several groups CWL, Bingo, Ladies Circle, Project Advance and the Church Office. She was also with Immaculate Conception Parish for over 20 years, helping out there as well. Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday July 29th at 7:00 pm followed by a Funeral Mass on Wednesday July 30th at 10:30 a.m. Immaculate Conception Church 8842 119th St. Delta BC. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to Covenant House(http://covenanthousebc.org) or the BC Cancer Foundation(http://donate.bccancerfoundation.com/goto/jerry_ryan ) would be greatly appreciated.
