This year I am participating in the Cure Our Ovarian Cancer fundraiser for BC Cancer Foundation.
Every year tens of thousands of women around the world are diagnosed with low-grade serous carcinoma. A type of ovarian cancer which disproportionately affects younger women and is difficult to treat.
Cure Our Ovarian Cancer and BC Cancer Foundation together are fighting for research to improve our survival.
100% of the funds raised through this page will go directly to low-grade serous cancer research to help those affected have more time to live the lives they love.
Low-Grade Ovarian Cancer is a rare cancer with limited treatment options so much work needs to be done. Because the cancer is uncommon it is challenging to secure research funds which is why I'm asking for your help.
